There are several variations on name of this kind of survey. These include:
–
A House Purchase Survey Report are the most common kind of report carried out on properties typically built from 1900 onwards. These are a building survey inspection of all the easily accessible parts of the property which will include such areas as the roofspace. For most more modern properties, this will be the most typical kind of home survey which will put a property purchasers’ mind at ease with a survey inspection and report being provided. often with a list of the main property defects and an indication of how important these would be to a typical property purchaser.
–
A building survey was formerly known as a Structural Survey.
These are the most comprehensive type of non-invasive survey inspection of a house, home or other property you can have if you are a purchaser. As a visitor to the property that is usually a building not owned by the client, the surveyor cannot cause damage to the property. We can however examine a lot more than somebody typically viewing the property as a prospective purchaser. Based on our training and experience in building construction, the survey will enable us to write a full survey report to advise the property purchaser.
Any property that is older than 1900 or is a period and/or listed structure is recommended to have a full building survey.
We operate as the coordinating company within the Right Surveyors Group for certain work including Buildings Reinstatement Valuations of portfolios and Stock Condition Surveys.
Our clientelle include national companies, housing associations and public authorities as well as private individuals.

For example bespoke Stock Condition Surveys are a type of basic building survey carried out when a large number of properties need inspection.
These appraisals greatly assist with management of a large number of properties.
These are sometimes required when a portfolio is being created or is being sold as a single group of properties.
We usually use a bespoke inspection system to suit the clients needs which usually include a description of the property, an assessment of its condition or perhaps to assist with a planned maintenance schedule.
This enables clients to adopt a planned maintenance approach to the portfolio and is often a considerable assistance with planned property management.
These inspections are carried out electronically and the reports are created and provided digitally. They are therefore quicker than a conventional survey and their unit cost is therefore cheaper although there is sometimes an initial cost to the bespoke element.
